The start of a new year is always one of the best times to review your vacation strategy. So many things happened last year, but this year is a new chapter waiting to be written. Looking at the year ahead through a cultural lens, with a focus on major events and trends around the world, The Rock Cruise adventure aims to provide the best holiday destinations list that is geographically diverse, one that covers a range of trips from eco-tourism to adventure that will surely inspire every type of traveller.
There are the destinations that have been on our radar for today's trip, but we may discover new places and the excitement just keeps on getting intense. To help out guests today get through the summer, an island visit to the Roberton Island could be the best way to cure those winter blues, either to escape for some winter sun or perhaps just to have that ray of light to look forward to. Some of the best beaches in the world could be seen here in the Bay of Islands and are already well known for a large number of visitors each year. Every now and then, we come across a beautiful beach, largely untouched and perfect for quiet getaway freedom that allows you to take adventure travel to the next level. To get to the beach itself you have two options, kayaking or paddleboarding, allowing our guests to see the overlooked stunning rock formations and various caves and coves up close.
A visit to Roberton Island will give you the chance to try snorkelling, diving with whale sharks, sailing, and lots of inland excursions are also an option. With plenty of accommodation in the area, you can be sure of an unforgettable adventure. A large, white sandy beach, the beach gives you everything you could you want from a vacation. With a secret cove to add to the mystery of this idyllic beach, it is perfect for a romantic afternoon. Just a few minutes away from the shore, a short walk to a picturesque view along the cliff tops is the idyllic spot to watch the sunset over the ocean. With green-covered mountains on one side and glorious beaches on the other, this is a beach experience like no other.
However, you can also make the journey even more rewarding by hiking to the top of the island. While the route is quite strenuous, you’ll be rewarded with a stunning view that only a few visitors were able to see. With incredible views over the glittering Bay of Islands, Roberton Island is truly a hidden gem making the possibilities for an unforgettable vacation, and we have more than to explore on our journey. Whether to relax on the sand or take to the ocean for a variety of water sports, Roberton Island is no exception. Any photographer can look forward to snapping pictures to some of the local wildlife and the around hundreds of rare flowers.
