Skipper's Report
After a little blip, the great summer weather is back!! We cruise out with a group from Top Deck and an awesome mix of independent travellers, spirits were high as we head out towards Tapeka point, the gateway to the Bay of Islands.
A real highlight for the crew was assisting a guest who was terrified of the ocean, a huge achievement to come out on the boat let alone get in the water! The team were confident we could provide a safe and supportive environment and we were delighted to enable our guest to swim in the bioluminescence that evening and also to snorkel and feed the fish the following day. These are great experiences which our guests enjoy, even the more memorable when you conquer your fears!
Ceviche and sashimi on the way home topped off a stunning cruise.
