## About the Operator

Jonny and Sarah Greener have operated Rock the Boat NZ since 2007, when they took over from Peter and Stacee Honey who built the vessel between 1997 and 1999. The business is owner-operated and based in Paihia. Erin is the current on-water skipper. The Rock carries up to 42 guests and is licensed for overnight commercial passenger operations in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand waters.

## What Makes the Rock Different

The Rock is not a mass-tourism operator. It is the opposite of the large commercial day cruise operators in the Bay of Islands. Guest numbers are small. The crew knows every guest by name. Activities are real — you catch the fish and eat it that night. You kayak through bioluminescence in the dark. You jump off the boat when you feel like it. No lanyards. No sheep counters.
