SKIPPER'S REPORT

The Rock departed from Paihia port at 5:24pm with 7 passengers headed to Roberton Island. The guests enjoyed target shooting and fishing on the way — beginner's luck meant they hooked some Snappers. As tradition dictates, they kissed the little ones for the camera before releasing them back into the water.

We arrived at Roberton Island for overnight anchorage. Delicious dinner from the crew, followed by drinks and time to get cosy and share stories.

The guests woke to a beautiful sunrise and the smell of a Kiwi breakfast. First activity: snorkelling — plenty of marine life to discover. Then an inland walk up the hill to the viewing platform of the Motuarohia Track, with one of the best views the Bay of Islands has to offer. Downtime on the beach to cool down and take in the moment.

Returning to the boat, a seafood lunch was prepared as we headed back to Paihia. Finished off with a Kina shot to give them a real taste of the sea. Another fantastic intimate cruise for the books!
