Booking and Payment
All bookings will be instantly confirmed at the time of booking.
Children are welcome.
Children under 2 are free of charge.
Children above the age of 12 are charged full rate.
A full payment is required to secure your reservation.
Tariff includes the New Zealand Goods and Services Tax of 15%.
Cancellation by Guest
Stuck in traffic, personal health, seasickness, weather conditions are not a premise for refund.
Bay of Islands Rock Cruises Ltd obligation to refund any payments made by you at the time of booking the Cruise*:
- If you cancel more than 72 hours prior to departure: Full Refund
- If you cancel less than 72 hours prior to departure: Forfeiture of the Full Price
If you cancel your booking less than 72 hours prior to departure, Bay of Islands Rock Cruises Ltd will make every reasonable effort to re-sell your booking. However, Bay of Islands Rock Cruises Ltd is under no obligation to take any extraordinary measures to try to fill your spot on the trip.
Private Charter — Deposit and Balance
A 50% deposit is required to secure your private charter booking. The deposit is non-refundable, fully transferable to another cruise date within six months of your original date if available — provided the change is arranged at least three months prior to your original cruise date.
The remaining 50% balance is due three months prior to your cruise date, and is also non-refundable.
If you need to cancel, Bay of Islands Rock Cruises Ltd will make every reasonable effort to re-sell your date and reschedule you. However, Bay of Islands Rock Cruises Ltd is under no obligation to take any extraordinary measures to fill your spot.
Alteration or Cancellation by Bay of Islands Rock Cruises Ltd
All departures, activities & itineraries are subject to weather, tides & sea conditions. Bay of Islands Rock Cruises reserves the right to cancel any departure without prior notice in the interest of passenger comfort and safety.
Minimum Numbers
All Departures are subject to Bay of Islands Rock Cruises Ltd minimum number of 10 guests being met. Should the minimum numbers not be reached Bay of Islands Rock Cruises Ltd reserve the right to cancel the trip and offer guests a full refund of the cruise price or transfer to another cruise date.
All our adventure activities (kayaking, snorkelling, beach lands, treks, etc.) are suitable for persons of good health and they all involve risks. Whilst we do everything possible to safeguard our guests, there are circumstances beyond our control. Bay of Islands Rock Cruises will not be held liable for your belongings and we recommend that you are covered by travel insurance. All departures, activities and itineraries are subject to weather, tides and sea conditions. Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to departure result in forfeiture of the full price. Prices are subject to change without notice.
