Skipper's Report:
Perfect weather and wildlife galore. Bottlenose dolphins at Tapeka Point on the way out — feeling particularly acrobatic, leaping out of boat wakes. Great swim at Cook's Cove, then made our way to Electric Bay, viewing little blue penguins along the way.
A stingray and an octopus were briefly hooked during fishing and sighted before both got off close to the surface — a quick catch and release. Visibility improving; Army Bay had stunning snorkelling with clarity only improving as we moved to Stingray Bay for our island stop on Waewaetoria.
An intimate, small cruise — with a successful wedding proposal on the back deck during the evening!
